A stumbling block could form over Gabigol's release clause, which is set at around £40m. However, with a newly-improved TV deal set to boost the financials of clubs in the Premier League, the price shouldn't be a problem for Arsene Wenger's side.
The Santos number 10 can play as an out-and-out striker as well as in an advanced role in midfield. His versatility will be a key selling point as Arsenal look set to bolster both attack and midfield following the impending departures of Mikel Arteta, Mathieu Flamini and Tomas Rosicky.
