Arsenal Demand £30m for Hector Bellerin as Barcelona Consider Other Targets

Arsenal will demand that Barcelona pay at least £30m if they wish to sign Spanish wonderkid Hector Bellerin this summer, according to the "?Express.

Bellerin is a product of the Barcelona youth academy, but moved to London as a teenager in order to continue his development at Arsenal. He has broken into the club's first team over the last couple of seasons and has now made the right back slot his own at the Emirates.

The 21-year-old has also been called into Spain's senior squad for Euro 2016 in June, and made his international debut in a recent win over Bosnia and Herzegovina. While he is set to travel to France for the summer, Barca are looking to seal a permanent return to his homeland for Bellerin after the tournament.

Spanish newspaper Mundo Deportivo recently claimed that Barcelona technical director Robert Fernandez has "?contacted Bellerin to gauge his interest in moving to the Spanish champions, but it is understood that the player is happy in London and won't directly request a transfer. As a result, Barca will need to negotiate with Arsenal first - and Arsene Wenger's side will ask for top dollar.

The £30m is reported to be the minimum Arsenal will consider for the player, but with Dani Alves looking set to leave Camp Nou for Juventus this summer, the Catalan side are expected to step up their interest. Sevilla's Mariano and Valencia's Joao Cancelo are considered alternatives to Bellerin as the Brazilian's replacement.

Speaking on Barcelona's interest and Alves' departure last week, Bellerin said: He said: "I don't really get informed about offers. My agent is the one that works on these sort of things, but I'm happy to receive interest from such great clubs. As a player it's really nice.

"Right now I'm very happy where I am, at Arsenal and focusing on the national team. With these things, until you don't know what to do until they arrive.

"If Alves leaves they will need a full-back, there are lots in Europe."
