Algeria Coach Leeken Named Strong Squad To Face Super Eagles

Algeria have called up 18 foreign based players including Leicester City stars Riyad Mahrez and Islam Slimani as well as Sofiane Feghouli of West Ham for a World Cup qualifier against Nigeria.

New coach Georges Leekens named the squad Tuesday morning with a proviso to include five players from the domestic league after the country’s Super Cup.

The World Cup showdown is slated for Saturday, November 12, in Uyo.
