Gabon will be hosting 368 players from 16 nations starting from 14th January, 2017, with Gabon the hosts taking on debutants, Equatorial Guinea.
Twenty four games will be played in the group phase of the tournament. Gabon will face Guinea Bissau at 5:00pm opening the start of AFCON followed by Burkina Faso against Cameroon at 8:00pm.
Nigerian high-life musician, Flavour, will be performing alongside Tanzanian singer Diamond Platnumz at the opening ceremony of 2017 African Cup of Nations in Gabon.
