AFCON 2017 Draw: Nigeria’s WC Qualifier Opponents get Tough Group

The AFCON 2017 group stage draw will either come as more troubles for Algeria or just a test of their courage.

Les Fennecs were drawn against Tunisia and Senegal as well as Zimbabwe in what could arguably be the strongest group of the 31st edition of the continental show piece. Host nation, Gabon, were housed in Group A along with Burkina Faso, Cameroon and Guinea Bissau.

Defending Champions, Ivory Coast will have to sweat through an equally tough first round against DR Congo, Morocco and Togo.

Finalist in 2015 Ghana have the hard luck of playing Egypt,Mali and ambitious Uganda.
