Saitama: Urawa Red Diamonds must reverse a two-goal deficit in the second-leg of their 2017 AFC Champions League Round of 16 meeting with Jeju United on Wednesday to have any chance of progressing to the last eight of the continental competition.
Marcelo Toscano scored early on and Jin Seong-uk added a stoppage-time second as Jeju put in an outstanding display to run out 2-0 victors in the first leg last week and leave Urawa with a mountain to climb at Saitama Stadium.
A 2-0 scoreline for the hosts would force extra-time while only a three-goal winning margin would see Urawa advance in 90 minutes, but the J.League side can take heart from that fact that they boast a perfect home record.
Winners in 2007, Urawa have not made the quarter-finals since 2008, while Jeju are aiming to advance to the last eight for the first time.
