Manchester City of England youngster, Kelechi Iheanacho is bound to have another remarkable season playing for The Citizens next season in the English Premier League, as his father says his son will not be sent out on loan by the club.

Iheanacho had a tremendous impact during his debut season campaign with City last season, in which he scored 14 goals in all competitions, and his father believes the lad had done enough to convince Etihad Stadium buffs that he truly deserves a place in the squad.

With that in view, Pa James Iheanacho insists the Super Eagles rookie will feature for Man City next season and will not be going out on loan, as he did with a deal to Columbus Crew of USA after excelling at the 2013 FIFA U-17 World Cup.

Iheanacho had an impressive debut season last term, as City’s former manager, Manuel Pellegrini showed faith in him, but the lad is feared to struggle with the arrival of Pep Guardiola.

Last time out, Iheanacho started the season as City’s third striker, but later usurped Wilfried Bony to become the second striker behind Sergio Aguero and it remains to be seen if Guardiola will maintain status quo.

With the former Barcelona and Bayern Munich gaffer already in the saddle ahead of the new season, there has been talk that the 19-year-old forward could be sent on loan, especially as reports link the club with several high-profile strikers.

However, Iheanacho’s father has a different opinion and insists there are no plans at the moment for his son to go out on loan.

“He will stay at Manchester City under the new coach because there are no plans to send him out on loan. He is not going on loan and if there were plans like that, we would have discussed it, so he is not going anywhere,” James Iheanacho told AfricanFootball.com on Wednesday
