Iceland assistant coach Helgi Kolviðsson has labelled the Super Eagles of Nigeria an unpredictable side ahead of their Friday clash at the Volgograd Arena.

The debutants will look to build on their 1-1 draw against Argentina when they face the Super Eagles

“You know this kind of organization with Argentina. When Messi gets the ball, you know what’s next, the next thing is that he takes off and finds the right pass,”he told Visir.is.

“Against Nigeria, you are not sure. They are unpredictable and are extremely dangerous in these things too. ”

Kolviðsson also hinted that there could be one or two changes from the team that played against Argentina.

“That’s quite a possibility. We had talked about it in advance what would suit this opponent better. I have thought about it too, there may be changes. quite clearly,” he added.

He also spoke about the need for the team to play to their strengths against the Super Eagles.

“There were many things in the game against Argentina, which is usually our strength, but we didn’t apply them,” he stated.

“It’s always possible to do it better and we will try to do it now. This will not be an easy game.”
