Harrison Afful has lauded the mentality of his Columbus Crew teammates after twice coming from behind to beat Sporting Kansas 3-2 on Saturday.

The Ghana defender lasted 70 minutes at the Columbus Crew Stadium
He was playing his second match in three days after debuting last Wednesday in the 2-2 draw with New York City FC.

The former Esperance man was delighted with the fighting spirit of his teammates.
“I think we did a really good job. We always keep fighting and keep the determination going, so that is the most important. The fans were also very happy and we were able to win and put smiles on their faces,” Affful told the club’s website.
