Hammola FC return to winning ways as Igabjo edge Karamba FC

Hammola FC on Wednesday returned to winning ways thanks to two first half goals from Odeyemi Qowiy (13') and Ajibola Awoeyo (27')handed them a comprehensive 2-0 win over HMK FC at the OSogbo Township Stadium, reports Nigeriasoccernet.com.

The Lee Bombers after winning their first game by a lone goal against Ijesha Warriors, lost the second one 1-0 to Fehinty FC in a game they largely dominated, which caused a setback for them in their bid for a playoff spot. However, Wedenesday's win put right back on course for their target in the 2024 NLO season.

In other games played at the center, Alaska FC came from a goal dowm to defeat Fehinty FC 2-1. Afolabi Mumeen had ealier out Fehinty FC in the lead but 2 late goals from Makinde aiyanu and Ojo Kehinde handed Alaska the maximum points.

Owolabi Afeez was the hero in the 3rd match of the day played at the Osogbo Center as his 23rd minutes goal win the maximum points for Victory Police FC against AAYK FC.

Ijesha Golden Warriors edged Ase Ridyem FC 1-0 thanks to Ige Bode's 76th minutes goal. Igbajo FC maintained their unbeaten run as Qamar Qamar's 32rd minutes goal earned them the maximum points against Karamba FC.

With 3 gamesplayed at the center, Igbajo FC are top having won all their games and are closely followed by Karamba FC, Hammola FC and Ijesha Golden Warriors who have recorded two victories each.

Games continues at the center on Friday as the bid for the NLO playoff ticket intensifies.
