Hearts of Oak striker Gilbert Fiamenyo has been announced as the First Capital Plus Bank Ghana Premier League player of the month for January - the first player to win the award since its instutution.
The 22-year-old has been in inspired scoring form for the Phobians side so far this season scoring 5 goals in four matches.
That included a brace against Medeama, as well as a match-winning hat trick against Medeama on week III.
His solitary strike gave Hearts the win in their opener against WAFA.
Fiamenyo was rewarded a cheque for GHS 500 (US$ 200) by the league’s title sponsor First Capital Plus Bank.
