Ghanaian Kingsley Boateng and Jeffrey Sarpong are set to get a new coach at NAC Breda as talks have advanced between the club's officials and trainer Robert Maaskant.

However, there is no agreement in place between the parties but talks are ongoing.

Boateng and Sarpong lost their coach as Satyamurthy Gudelj was fired as head coach following disappointing results with assistant Eric Hagen put forward in an interim role but the club's performance has not improved.

NAC want to quickly find a new coach who would be tasked to restore the club to a respectable standing in the Eredivisie.

The arrival of the new coach would mean new opportunities and challenges for Boateng and Sarpong.

Sarpong, an Ajax Amsterdam graduate and former Dutch youth star, has been a regular starter at NAC but Boateng has been restricted to second-half show with just a goal from 16 games.

NAC are currently going through a financial crisis and according to reports from Holland, they are playing to put Boateng on sale when the winter transfer opens next week.

Boateng joined NAC from Milan in the summer.
