Defending champions Asante Kotoko saw their two game winning streak come to an end after drawing 0-0 at Wa All Stars.
Coach Mas-Ud Dramani adopted a defensive strategy and it worked to perfection as they returned home with a share of the spoils.
Kotoko were missing four key players including talisman Ahmed Toure, Jordan Opoku, goalkeeper Isaac Amoako and right-back Christopher Bonney.
Wa All Stars dominated play and were unlucky not to have scored in the first half after creating a hatful of scoring chances.
The point means Kotoko will look to return to winning ways against eternal rivals Hearts of Oak over the weekend.
