Ghana Premier League: Match Report- Kotoko extend winless run with Berekum Chelsea draw

Published on: 25 February 2015

Champions Asante Kotoko extended their winless run to five matches after drawing 1-1 at Berekum Chelsea on Wednesday.

The Porcupine Warriors last won a match on 30 January 2015 against Inter Allies but have since suffered two defeats and three draws.

Kotoko scored first in the 75th minute through Ahmed Toure but winger Bennett Ofori pegged back the visitors with the equalizer five minutes from time.

Michael Osei’s charges are now 13th on the league table with 10 points and only above the relegation mark on the head-to-head rule.
