Ghana international Andre Ayew says he is open to contract extension talks at Marseille, with his current deal due to expire this summer.
Continually linked with a move to England, Germany and Italy, the midfielder says he plans to meet with the club president in the coming days to hold talks over his future.
"The door is always open. Today, I don't know what the future holds," the 25-year-old told French sports daily L'Equipe.
"Soon I will meet Mr Labrune [Marseille president] with my father [Ghana legend Abedi Pele], as I currently do not have an agent.
"We are going to hear what the president has to say and after that I will decide the next step."
Ayew is out of contract in June, meaning he is now free to discuss terms with other clubs in Europe.
That has led to speculation that a move away from south of France could be on the cards this summer, but the Black Star, who recently helped Ghana reach the Africa Cup of Nations final, claims his personal experience at the club will influence his next move.
"Whether the club secure qualification or not for the Champions League, my decision will solely depend on what I have experienced and I can still experience at the club.
"If I have to stay at Marseille, it will be because the club has big ambitions and things are in place to keep it that way.
"But if this is not the case, our paths will separate but in a very nice way.
"I'm someone who likes to prepare for the future, but right now I just take it one day at a time."
Ayew has been at Marseille since 2005.
He came through the club academy and was farmed out to French clubs Lorient and Arles Avignon before breaking into the first team in the 2010/11.
After making an impact on the international stage in 2010, when he impressed at both the Africa Cup of Nations and Fifa World Cup, 2011 marked a year when Ayew became a key figure at Marseille.
He finished the 2010-11 campaign as a regular starter for Marseille for the first time in his career, with his goal tally of 11 enough to earn him the 2011 BBC African footballer of the Year award.
