Ghana defender Baba Abdul Rahman paid the bonus of players of his former club Dreams FC following their weekend’s win over Sporting Mirren.

The Kweiman-based club beat Mirren 2-0 to extend their lead at the top of Zone 3 standings to enhance their Premier League qualification credentials.

The win which was delivered through the brace of former Hearts of Oak striker Eric Gawu saw Dreams FC tear further away at the top of the standings where they are now seven points clear of second place Pure Joy.

Baba Rahman who played for Dream FC before moving to Europe was in the stands to watch the weekend’s game.

The Augsburg left-back was impressed with the performance of the team he offered to pay the match winning bonus of the players.

The gesture was to first reward the players for the win over Mirren and also to motivate them ahead of their midweek clash against Mighty Jets.

Baba Rahman is currently in Ghana on holidays after yet another impressive campaign in the Bundesliga for Augsburg.
