Avram Grant says he is determined to meet the huge expectations of Ghanaians following his visit to the official bank of the Black Stars, UniBank.

The former Chelsea boss is will be taking charge of the team for the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations following his appointment in November.

Grant is tasked to 'do well' with the team in Equatorial Guinea to set a solid foundation for an expected Nations Cup triumph in 2017.

But the 59-year-old is eager to do well with the team to exceed immediate expectations.

"Thanks for the support, support is very important," Grant said at his official introduction to officials of UniBank.

" We hope to do everything to meet the expectations."

Chief Executive Officer of UniBank Felix Nyarko-Pong congratulated Grant on his appointment and wished him all the best in his tenure as coach of the Black Stars.

"First of all I will like to congratulate you on your appointment," the UniBank boss said.

"We wish you very well in your tenure and be rest assured that UniBank stands ready at all times to support the Black Stars.

"We went to the World Cup but we weren't able to achieve the desired results.

"But we have come back home and we have learnt lessons and must ensure we do better this time around."
