Gary Neville Stirs the Pot After Claiming There's a 'Mole' in the Man Utd Dressing Room

Published on: 20 September 2016

"?Former Manchester United full-back Gary Neville has claimed there is a mole in his former club's dressing room.

"?The Telegraph have reported that the 'dressing down' treatment United's players are currently receiving under manager Jose Mourinho is a lot 'nastier and more personal' than it was under former boss Sir Alex Ferguson.

Similarly, Mourinho has recently been outspoken in his criticism of players such as Luke Shaw and Henrikh Mkhitaryan, whereas Ferguson rarely singled players out in the dressing room as aggressively as Mourinho apparently has.

Neville, responding to the Twitter link published by the Telegraph, claimed it was 'embarrassing' that leaks were emerging following three poor results:

Leaks already after one bad week! Embarrassing!! https://t.co/VS6lViGywD

'Moles' aren't something new to Mourinho; during his time at Real Madrid, there were rumours of club captain Iker Casillas leaking information to the press, while Chelsea midfielder Cesc Fabregas was also accused of doing the same at Chelsea.

Should this worrying trend continue at United (that's if the previous incidents are true of course), it's fair to say whomever the guilty party is, they certainly won't be high on Jose Mourinho's Christmas list.
