Frank Sarfo Gyamfi: Kotoko winger envisages another win over Hearts in Super Clash

Asante Kotoko winger Frank Sarfo Gyamfi has told Asantekotokosc.com he is looking to re-launch his predatory trademark terrorizing form against Hearts of Oak on Saturday.

The former Wa All Stars and Maritzburg United of South Africa winger was one of Kotoko’s best performers in the preseason as he always proved a handful for his opponents.  This season he has started in three out of Kotoko’s five encounters but he rates his performance as below his own expectation.

"I haven’t been doing badly but I still think I could do more”, he observed. “A lot is being expected from me and I want to improve on my game to meet that expectation”.

Gyamfi was at his terrorizing best when Kotoko last beat Hearts of Oak in Kumasi in the Super Two clash and his influence was spotted by Hearts’ coach Herbert Addo who said at the post-match conference that ‘the right winger was causing us problems” when he was asked why his defence struggled to find their rhythm.

With another game against Hearts coming up tomorrow, Sarfo Gyamfi is wishing to get a bite of proceedings and leave a mark on his opponents’ coach.

“It feels good when such coaches describe your performance in that manner. But, that, in itself, is also a challenge because I would have to do same or even more if given the chance to play against them tomorrow”.
