Former Indomitable Lionesses' striker wanted Cameroon to break the barrier against Super Falcons

Two days after losing to Nigeria, former Cameroonian Indomitable Lionesses Gaelle Eganamouit is yet to overcome the pain from the defeat.

The Indomitable Lioness suffered a lone-goal defeat to the Super Falcons in the quarter-final of the ongoing 2022 African Women Cup of Nations in Morocco, which saw them crash out from the competition and automatic qualification for the 2023 FIFA Women World Cup in Australia and New Zealand.

While reacting to the game, Eganamouit said she felt the barrier could have been broken this time but Nigeria still had their way.

" My plans have not changed for my little sisters and teammates of the national team, once again we fell against Nigeria. I would have really liked them to break the barrier," she said.
