The U-20 Women's national Football team will take part in the first edition of the West African Football Union, WAFU B tournament billed to hold in Ghana in May, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.
The Nigeria team are one of the seven teams that have confirmed participation for the maiden tournament alongside Host, Ghana, Cote D'Ivoire, Niger, Benin, Togo and Burkina Faso.
The tournament will take place at the Baba Yara Stadium and DR Kwame Kyei Sports Complex in Kumasi from May the 20th to June 2, 2023.
The Falconet are the most decorated team amongst the participants of the tournament after emerging multiple winners at the continental front and representing the continent at the world cup in all editions at this level.
