Swiss-based striker Ebenezer Assifuah has joined his Black Stars team-mates in France amid false reports of failure to travel for Ghana's international friendlies against Senegal and Mali.

Reports in a section of the Ghanaian press claim the former Ghana U20 star had not been able to travel to France for the game due to injury and has been replaced by Atalanta forward Richmond Boakye-Yiadom.

The striker's arrival confirmed was confirmed on Instagram as FC Copenhagen posted a picture of himself and Assifuah in the Ghana camp.

While the player has arrive in the Ghana camp, his injury recovery is not 100 percent on point. GHANAsoccernet.com checks can confirm the player just started light training last week and is working towards full recovery.

Atalanta forward Boakye-Yiadom and Chicago Fire's David Accam have both been handed late call-ups as replacements for Augsburg's Abdul Baba Rahman and Sogndal IF's Mahatma Otoo who have both suffered late injuries.
