Dele-Bashiru arrives in Rome for Lazio medical

Super Eagles midfielder, Fisayo Dele-Bashiru has arrived in Rome ahead of his medical examination at Lazio, as he prepares to complete his transfer from Hatayspor, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.

The 23-year-old who was a product of the Manchester City academy and also played for Sheffield Wednesday, landed at the airport on Friday evening and will undergo medical tests on Saturday.

Lazio for the loan deal will pay €2 million with a compulsory obligation to him for additional €4 million at the end of the season.

Dele-Bashiru joined Hatayspor on a free transfer in the summer of 2023 and went on to score nine goals and provide six assists in 39 competitive games for the Turkish club.

He has also made two senior appearances for Nigeria, scoring one goal.

The creative midfielder is expected to complete his move to Lazio once the medical formalities are completed, marking a significant step in his career.
