CSS Sfaxien Set To Sign Nigerian striker Ohawuchi

In a surprise move Tunisian club Club Sportive Sfaxien,CSS, want to recruit Wadi Degla Hitman Stanley Ohawuchi of Egypt, Owngoalnigeria.com can exclusively reveal. The former Flying Eagles forward was voted as the best foreign player in the Egyptian Premier League and after a stellar season with modest league side Wadi Degla, Sfaxien are reportedly said to be heavily interested in the 26 year to bolster their forward line.

Ohawuchi has in the past played in Spain for Athletico Baleares and Slieman Wanderers of Malta before moving to Egypt in 2014 where he has grown into one of the most feared marksman in the league.

Sfaxien have a rich connection with Nigerian players as they presently have the Nigerian duo of Junior Ajayi and Kingsley Sokari on their books with Lukman Zakari also set to join them on a permanent base when he completes 18 years in December.

Sfax based Sfaxien resumed preparations for next season yesterday July 11, but without their foreign players which includes the aforementioned Nigerian duo of Ajayi and Sokari with Ajayi presently with the Nigeria Olympic team in USA where they are camping ahead of their campaign in this year’s Olympic.

However Sfaxien are facing competition to sign Ohawuchi from fellow Tunisian club Club Africain who were linked with a move for the former Heartland,Bayelsa United forward in April.
