The lanky forward played a crucial role in the team's successful campaign, which saw them win the Bundesliga title and DFB Pokal.

While rumors suggest interest from English clubs, Boniface has quashed the speculation, stating, "No, I'm fine with the Bundesliga, as long as I'm winning trophies there, I have no problem.

" The Super Eagles forward expressed his happiness at Leverkusen during an appearance on the "Curiosity made me ask" show.
