Ghana players, technical and management teams have donated 50, 000 Ghana Cedis (US$ 12,500) to victims of last week’s flood and fire victims in Accra.

The team were at the Kwame Nkrumah Circle in the Ghanaian capital on Thursday afternoon to pay their last respect to the over 150 people who perished when a fuel station exploded.

Most of the people who died were seeking shelter around the fuel station during the downpour which flooded and destroyed properties in Accra.

Aside the donation, the players and officials laid wreaths as part of empathizing with the families of those who died.

Ghana’s squad later returned to training at the Accra Sports Stadium to prepare for the Group H 2017 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Mauritius.
