Birmingham City's Ghanaian midfielder Koby Arthur has turned down the club's offer of a new deal to keep him at St Andrew's.

Sources close to the club says the highly-rated midfielder has rejected two offers to sign a new deal at St Andrew's

Arthur is out of contract this summer and Birmingham have tabled two offers as they look to keep hold of the exciting teenager.

However, Arthur, who is regarded as one of the best young talents to come through the club's youth system, has turned down the proposals, with that news alerting a number of the Blues' Championship rivals to his potential availability.

Ipswich Town and Brentford are thought to be interested in Arthur and are weighing up moves for the 19-year-old should he end up leaving Birmingham.

Birmingham are desperate to keep hold of Arthur as they see him as a ready-made replacement for Demarai Gray, should the winger leave the club this summer.

While Arthur will be available on a Bosman deal, Birmingham will be due compensation should he move to an English club as he is under 24, with the fee to be decided by a tribunal if the two clubs cannot come to an agreement.
