Nottingham Forest forward Taiwo Awoniyi has dismissed speculation that he is considering leaving the club this month, insisting his focus is on helping the team achieve success, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.
Awoniyi, 27, has struggled to secure regular playing time at Forest this season, starting just one Premier League game, but he remains committed to the cause.
"Transfers are part of football, and there will always be speculation," Awoniyi told the club's official website. "But my focus is entirely on Nottingham Forest.
"This is a team with a lot of potential, and I want to be here to help achieve something special. I'm not thinking about leaving; I'm thinking about how I can contribute more to the success of this club."
Awoniyi has scored just once in 17 league appearances for Nuno Espirito Santo's side this season, but his commitment to the club will be a boost to Forest fans.
