Amapakabo To Circle Changes For Wikki

Enugu Rangers head coach, Imama Amapakabo has promised to make wholesale changes to his side ahead of Friday’s Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) Super 4 game with Wikki Tourists.

Amapakabo fielded the majority if his trusted personnel like Nana Bonsu, Godwin Aguda, Bobby Clement and Chisom Egbuchulam in Rangers’ opening game of the competition against Rivers United on Wednesday.

Second half substitutes, Charles Henlong and Chizoba Amaefule were the only new faces that took part in the 2-0 win over United on Wednesday but Amapakabo has revealed that most of his regular stars will be rested for the game against Wikki Tourists.

“I wish I had more of (my new players take part in the game) against Rivers United and trust me, you are going to see more of them when we face Wikki Tourists on Friday.

“I will have another set of 11 players start for me in the game against Wikki Tourists.

“Those that played against Rivers United will be rested and we will come out and have fun,” Amapakabo told supersport.com.

The game between Rangers and Wikki Tourists will kick off at 5pm at the Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium, Enugu and is live on your world of champions.

Rangers currently sit top of the Super 4 standings with maximum points after their first game of the tournament.
