AFCON 2023: Super Eagles off to Côte d’Ivoire in White and Green

The Nigeria’s Super Eagles have left Lagos for Abidjan, Cote d’Ivoire, for the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.

The players and the technical crew were look all African dawning white native attire with touch green, the colors on the Nigerian flag.

The players and their officials, left the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos, for Abidjan on Wednesday morning.

The team have been camping in Abu Dhabi, United Emirates since last week before returning back home Lagos, Nigeria.

The three time champions are in the quest for their fourth title, something they last achieved in 2013 in South Africa.

The Super Eagles will be based in the same hotel with the Black Stars of Ghana at the Pullman Hotel in Abidjan.

Nigeria will kick off their campaign at the Africa’s biggest football festival against Nzalang Nacional of Equatorial Guinea at the Alassanne Quattara Stadium, Ebimpe, on Sunday.
