Rwanda will now face Ethiopia in a friendly later this month to prepare for their 2017 Africa Nations Cup qualifier against Ghana on 06 September.

The Amavubi initially announced they were going to engage DR Congo in an exhibition match but that been changed.

Rwanda were billed to travel to Scotland for a two-week training programme but that has been postponed indefinitely because of the difficulties in acquiring visas.

Rwanda will host the Black Stars in a second Group H qualifying match.

On September 12, Rwanda CHAN team composed of domestic league players will play against Gabon in Kigali as a build-up game for the continental championship which will be held in Kigali from January 18 to February 7, 2016.
