AC MILAN RESUMES INDIVIDUAL TRAINING AFTER NEGATIVE TESTS

Milanello reopens its gates after two months as club resumes individual training. Players and staff underwent medical screening, with all Covid-19 tests coming back negative. Players started training again in small groups and performed aerobic and core strengthening activities over two shifts (morning and afternoon). All activities are performed in compliance with the rules issued by the government and the health protection regulations. Other operational structures of the Club continue all day-to-day activities through smart working.

A NEW STADIUM FOR MILANO: NEW STADIUM DESIGNS SUBMITTED TO THE MUNICIPALITY OF MILAN

AC Milan and FC Internazionale Milano submitted to the Municipality of Milan a preparatory document for the feasibility project for the creation of a new world-class stadium and a Sports and Entertainment District in the San Siro area. The new concepts designed by Populus and Manica/Sportium are the result of a constructive dialogue with the Municipality and provide for the retention of a part of the current Giuseppe Meazza Stadium within a new retail and sports district that can be used 365 days a year, including about 106,000 square metres of green space.

MAY 25th: AC MILAN SUPPORTS INTERNATIONAL MISSING CHILDREN’S DAY

The Club is teaming up with other European Clubs and the International Center for Missing and Exploited Children (ICMEC) to support a new initiative to for International Missing Children’s Day on May 25th. The initiative aims to help in the search for missing children, raise awareness and encourage governments, communities and institutions to come together to tackle this issue.

"FROM MILAN WITH LOVE": FANS, AC MILAN AND ROC NATION STAND UNITED IN THE FIGHT AGAINST COVID-19

On Sunday May 3rd, AC Milan and Roc Nation honoured key workers fighting on the front line against Covid-19 with an hour-long event, “From Milan with Love”, hosted by Grammy-award winning producer DJ Khaled and by Italian journalist and DAZN presenter Diletta Leotta. The event created moments that were shared by football and music fans across the world, beyond geographical boundaries and beyond the social distancing imposed by the Coronavirus emergency.

Fans were able to enjoy performances from Alicia Keys, Kelly Rowland, Robin Thicke, Gavin Rossdale and Chris Traynor of Bush, Jay Buchanan of Rival Sons, Lola Ponce, Matteo Bocelli, Capo Plaza and Rkomi among others. Additional tributes to front line workers were given by Jonas Brothers, Kaká, Thierry Henry, Paolo Maldini, Carlo Cracco, Danilo Gallinari, Normani, Jannik Sinner, Charlie Sloth, AC Milan Youth Sector and many Rossoneri fans. Funds raised throughout the event will help international non-profit organsation Direct Relief and by Fondazione Milan in the fight aganst Covid-19.

 

HAPPY BIRTHDAY CAPTAIN! OCEANS OF LOVE ON FRANCO BARESI’S 60TH.

From Ivan Gazidis, Paolo Scaroni and Paolo Maldini, to many former teammates including Carlo Ancelotti, Marco Van Basten, George Weah, to friends and special fans, including Laura Pausini, Carlo Cracco, Danilo Gallinari, Alvin. Milan Media House has selected 60 amongs all of them to celebrate a special 60th birthday.

On May 8th, Captain Franco Baresi, AC Milan's legendary Captain and currently Brand Ambassador of the Club, turned 60. A very special birthday for him as his age now contains the iconic number 6, his shirt number. A number he wore with class and elegance in hundreds of games around the world, becoming legendary.
