Italian giants AC Milan will step up the chase for Ghana international winger Andre Ayew from today as they are planning on talking with representatives of the Marseille player who will be a free agent by June.

Ayew, the son of Ghana legend Abedi Pele, will surely be in another team next season after his French club was unable to be the financial demands of the player who has grown in stature since signing his contract.

The French club didn’t show enough commitment by at least meeting him half way to renew his contract and the Black Star gave the green light for European teams to start negotiating.

AC Milan are among the several clubs including Liverpool, Arsenal, Newcastle and Everton who are all keen while Inter Milan are also reported to be keen on the free agent.

But AC Milan will begin talks today with some of his representatives to see if they can convince the Ghana star to take their offer which is expected to be lucrative.

The player will move on a free transfer since his contract with Marseille will come to its end by the end of this season .

This constitutes a great opportunity for Italian teams since they’re looking to sign high level players with low amounts given their average financial position in the last years compared to other European teams .

Inter Milan previously showed their interest to sign the player and some representatives met the player’s agent to discuss a potential move to Serie A .

Other Ghanaian players are actually playing for the Black and Red club such as Mutari and Essien which could facilitate these negotiations .

The upcoming days will be crucial for the player’s future.
