Aduana Stars Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Albert Yaya Commey has reposed confidence in Yaya Mohammed insisting the player will not swerve the Dormaa based side since they have a standing contract with the former Asante Kotoko forward.

Yaya Mohammed, tagged as the 'bad boy' in Ghana football for his outspoken attitude signed a two-year contract with the 2010 champions after terminating his contract with Ittihad Tripoli of Libya due to the Libyan outfit's inability to fulfill their part of the contract.

Aduana Stars wrote to Fifa to clear the player as a free agent to enable him register for the Ghanaian outfit during the second round of the First Capital Plus Premier League but Fifa insisted that the player could have registered without any special dispensation.

The player has since not been able to train with the Dormaa based side but the CEO insists that the club is confident the player will not swerve them.

"We have a contract with Yaya Mohammed and we are in constant contact with him. There is no way Yaya will swerve Aduana Stars as our relationship has been perfect. The Yaya we have now may be different from the Yaya others know." Albert Commey told Ghanasoccernet.com

"We wanted to use Yaya in the second round of the league but Fifa did not clear him for us. Fifa insisted Yaya could have registered during the second transfer window in Ghana but was in Libya by then and will not give him any special registration dispensation," he added.

Aduana Stars will be the fifth club for the powerful forward after stints with Real Tamale United, Real Sportive, Amidaus Professionals and Asante Kotoko.
