Nigeria's Ashleigh Plumptre scores in Leicester City's crucial win over Liverpool in the Barclay Women's Soccer League on Saturday at the King Power  Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.

The Super Falcons defender scored the third goal to contribute to the Foxes 4-0 record breaking victory over Liverpool which lifted them back off the bottom of the WSL.

Josie Green broke the deadlock in the 15 minutes before Corrie Jones doubled the lead six minutes later to give the hosts the 2-0 lead till the end of the first half.

Plumptre increased the Foxes' lead to 3-0 at the start of the second half with a powerful header.

Missy Goodwin completed the rout with a header in the final seconds of the encounter.

At the end of the tie, the Super Falcons centre back was adjudged by the Leicester City fans as the player of the match.
