WCQ: “We are going to approach the game with every seriousness" - Finidi speaks ahead of encounter with Benin

Nigeria Super Eagles Coach, Finidi George has stated will approach the World Cup qualifying match against Benin Republic on Monday with seriousness, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.

The Super Eagles have just three points in three matches after consecutive draws and are in dire need for a win, a situation Finidi understands very well while speaking ahead or the game.

He alludes to the match against South Africa on Africa especially in the second half where the team played better, stating that if the team starts the same way victory could be theirs.

“We are going to approach the game with every seriousness, the match against South Africa, that is done. We have learnt from it. We just have to see how we can get ourselves to have that fantastic second half that we had. If we can start that way I think tomorrow we have a chance."

Nigeria are second from bottom in  group C and we need to relieve their fading chance to qualify when they Benin Republic at the Felix Houphouet-Boigny Stadium, Cote D'Ivoire on Monday by 5pm.
