Waldrum expresses satisfaction as Oparanozie, Oshoala play together for the first time
Following their 2-1 friendly game win over Haiti, coach of Super Falcons Randy Waldrum has expressed his satisfaction with the combination of duo forward Asisat Oshoala and Desire Oparanozie, reports Nigeriasoccernet.com.
Randy Waldrum for the first time since he started coaching the Super Falcons had the duo of Asisat Oshoala and Desire Oparanozie play together, a combination which produced the desired result for the the American.
"The way Oshoala and Oparanozie combined together showed that they know each other very well and the Haitians were lucky not to have conceded a goal in the last 10 minutes of the match," He told NFF TV.
"For that reason, we will see how she (Oparanozie) is going to fit in and play with the rest of team," Waldrum added.
The Super Falcons defeated Haiti 2-1 in a friendly game on Friday afternoon thanks to goals from Okoronkwo and Oshoala.
They face New Zealand on Tuesday in another friendly game.
