This declaration confirms that the tests conducted by the Nigeria Football Federation prior to the team's departure were thorough and accurate.

It ensures that Nigeria will have a full squad to defend the title they won last year, also in Ghana.

The Nigerian Eaglets will begin their title defence against Burkina Faso at the University Stadium on Thursday, 16 May, with kickoff at 3pm Ghana time (4pm Nigeria time).
