WAFCON Final: Twanyanyukwa to officiate Nigeria-Morocco

Namibian referee Antsino Twanyanyukwa has been appointed to officiate the 2024 Women's Africa Cup of Nations final between Morocco's Atlas Lionesses and Nigeria's Super Falcons, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.

Twanyanyukwa will make history as the first Namibian referee to take charge of a WAFCON final.

Rwanda's Alice Umutesi and Senegal's Tabara Mboji will assist her as assistant referees.

Rwanda's Salima Mukansanga will lead the Video Assistant Referee (VAR) team, supported by Letticia Viana of Eswatini and Diana Chikotesha of Zambia.

The final takes place at the Olympic Stadium in Rabat on Saturday, kicking off at 9pm Nigerian time.
