Francisca Ordega believes the Super Falcons are primed to reclaim continental supremacy after a disappointing campaign at the 2022 Women's Africa Cup of Nations, NigeriaSoccernet.com reports.

The team's worst finish in the tournament's history saw them lose three matches and finish fourth in Morocco two years ago.
However, with the 2024 WAFCON finals approaching in Morocco, Ordega is confident the team will strive for excellence.
“The target is to win, of course. You can’t be going to a battle and want to lose the battle, so the goal is to win, bring back the trophy,” the Al-Ittihad Ladies winger told Bold Sports.

The WAFCON 2024 starts on 5 July and ends on 25 July 2025.
