Victor Osimhen’s goals for Belgian club Sporting Charleroi have not gone unnoticed as he is now been linked to a transfer to Ajax.
Ajax are set to sell some of their top stars and will need capable replacements when they do so.
Osimhen scored his eighth league goal in 14 appearances Friday night against KAA Gent to inspire his club to a late 2-0 home win.
He drove straight at goal to control a long ball, before he fired home despite the close attention of his marker in the 86th minute.
He has been flying in Belgium since his loan move in the summer from Bundesliga side Wolfsburg.
Charleroi have the option to sign the Nigeria striker permanently at the end of the season, but it is not clear whether the modest Belgian club can stomp up the cash for his transfer from Wolfsburg.
Wolfsburg splashed more than 4 million Euros for the striker after he top scored at the 2015 FIFA U17 World Cup in Chile.
