Uzoho Could Terminate Elche Loan Deal After Losing First Choice Spot To Newly Signed Goalkeeper

The first choice goalkeeper of the Super Eagles of Nigeria Francis Odinaka Uzoho is searching for a new loan destination after losing his first choice spot at second division Spanish side Elche.

Uzoho kept goal in seven of the twenty games they played in the first stanza of the league conceding ten goals with his performance dividing opinions as it was mixed with good and bad games.

Elche stuck with the shot stopper ?upon resumption of the league but since the signing of Barcelona shot stopper Edgar Badia who was forced to terminate his loan deal at Reus due to financial issues Uzoho has been relegated to second choice.

The situation could see him terminate the loan deal as he was assured regular run of games before he agreed to join Elche on loan from Deportivo La Coruna, where he was told he will still be third choice despite his above average performance for Nigeria at the World Cup

In Elche’s last game, Uzoho was not even listed among the substitutes, and it has led to talks about an imminet exit for the 20 year old with a move away from Spain likely to be his next step
