Nigeria Terem Moffi was the protagonist for Nice as they earned a 2-2 away draw against Basel in the first leg of the UEFA Conference League quarterfinals on Thursday, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.

The Super Eagles striker scored twice after 45 minutes including a superb kick  to initiate a comeback and earn a vital point at the St. Jakob Park.

Nice found a way back in the game thanks to Terem Moffi. The Nigerian restored parity with a poacher’s finish at the heart of a box with a first-time powerful low shot.

Michael Lang restored the lead for the Host in the minutes, but Moffi was there once again with a acrobatic kick to equal score at the dead of half time.
