Management chairman of Ghana’s U20 world cup team Wilfred Osei Palmer says his side is well oiled to excel in the upcoming world in New Zealand.
The Black Satellites will open their campaign against Austria on Saturday before taking on Argentina and Panama subsequently.
Ghana is the only Africa country to ever win the world cup at the U20 level and face an uphill task of matching the heroic standards of the 2009 squad.
But Palmer who is management chairman of the team says his side is well prepared for the task ahead.
“We have prepared very well and all is set to begin the campaign tomorrow,” Palmer told Accra based Happy FM
‘”We know all games will be competitive but we will try to impose ourselves in all games.”
The game against Austria will be played 7:00 am Ghanaian time on Saturday.
