U-20 AFCON: Egypt's Coach tags group A "strongest among the three groups"

Following the draws of the U-20 African Cup of Nations, AFCON , Egyptian Coach, Mahmoud Gaber has called group A, where The Young Pharaohs are placed as the strongest of the three groups.

Gaber gave the assertion after the draws which were done in Cairo saw Egypt, Nigeria, Senegal and Mozambique housed in the same group.

"The Egyptian national team includes a distinguished group of players, and the team that plays for the title must win all matches." Gaber stated.

He added, "I know all the teams present in the tournament very well, but the Egypt group is the strongest among the three groups."

"My full confidence in the players of the Egyptian national team, I appeal to the Egyptian fans to attend the tournament matches to strongly support the players to qualify for the World Youth Cup and achieve the title."

The group have seven-time winners of the tournament, Nigeria, four-time winners, Egypt, three-time runners up, Senegal and two times participant, Mozambique go to head to head for a place in the quarter final before going for the semis which will secure a World Cup ticket.
