The South Africa U-17 coach Duncan Crowie has said his team’s motive against the Golden Eaglets is to settle a draw, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.

South Africa and Nigeria are both on three points in Group B at the 2023 African U-17 Cup of Nations. Both teams lost to Morocco in the group and also defeated Zambia by a goal difference.

But with Nigeria occupying second place due to better goal difference, Crowie his team just need a draw to scale through to the knockout.

“Nothing is done yet. This is a tough group and anything can happen. We still have work to do but at least now we have a win to work with. We will just need a draw in that match to get through,” Crowie was quoted by CAFonline.

The Amajimbos will play Nigeria ok Saturday at the Stade Mohamed Hamlaoui, Constantine.
