Nigerian defender, William Troost-Ekong has made the Serie A Team of The Week for matchday 8 after his sterling performance for Udinese against Torino last weekend.
Troost-Ekong was at the heart of the Club’s third win of the season over their visitors, and helped the defended their lone goal advantage.
The Tottenham Hotspurs academy graduate had a game rating of 7.8, he made 8 clearances, three accurate passes blocked four shots to helped the Igor Tudor secured hard fought win.
Ekong was paired in the team of the week defence with AS Roma Gianluca Mancini , Parma’s Riccardo Gagliolo and Paolo Faragao of Cagliari.
He has featured six times for Udinese this season and has helped the Club to 10th position on the log.
