Colombian striker Radamel Falcao (35) could return to La Liga. The former Monaco player who has belonged to Galatasaray since 2019 is currently in Madrid according to El Chiringuito. He is reportedly going through his medical visit with Rayo Vallecano to sign a year with another optional year.
Passed to Atlético de Madrid between 2011 and 2013, Radamel Falcao could therefore find a championship where he was at the peak of his career. Last year, he only played 18 matches in Turkey with 9 goals scored.
Falcao's contract with Galatasaray has been negotiated for a termination by the player and the club, according to Italian football journalist Gianluca Di Marzio.
Last season, the striker was believed to be unhappy that the team failed to qualify for the Champions League.
According to Get Italian Football News, Serie A clubs Genoa and Venezia were also interested in Falcao, but discussions between the two clubs fell through.
