Not deemed a great fit for his game system by Napoli boss Luciano Spalletti, in spite of having been lined up in Matchday 1 game against Venezia (won by Partenopei by a 2-0 outcome), besides having been already trained by Spalletti himself back when he was playing for AS Roma, 30-year old Greek international centre-back Kostas Manolas is yet to figure out whether he's going to stay put or not.

While having been just inquired about by Torino, Manolas seems inclined to join back his home country, as well as his home club themselves, namely Olympiakos, though he might have to apply a cut on his current wage. Still on a deal with Italian giants until June 2024, Manolas was previously tracked by such clubs as Arsenal, Barcelona FC, Everton, Inter Milan, and Juventus.
