Middlesbrough have announced the signing of Norwich winger Onel Hernadez on a season loan deal. The 28 year old winger moved to Norwich from Eintracht Braunschweig in 2018 & made history in 2019 being  the first Cuban to play in the Premier League. Former German U18 is of Cuban descent & made his Cuba INT debut in 2021 and has 2 goals in 4 caps. He has 105 appearances for the The Canaries scoring 11 times. He recently became surplus to requirements and moving to Riverside Stadium will help him get regular playtime. He has 2 Championship titles with Norwich City. Arminia Bielefeld product also has spells with  Werder Bremen II and Wolfsburg II. 

Neil Warnock said  "I'm delighted to welcome him. He's just the type of player we've been looking for.

"I think he needs us as much as we need him, having not played an awful lot over the past year.

"He'll get plenty of opportunities here and I'm looking forward to working with him."
